Financial Accountant

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to manage entity accounting, coordinate audits, and ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with internal controls.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Set up, prepare, and maintain entity balance sheet reconciliations and perform analytic reviews.
• Conduct peer reviews of balance sheet reconciliations and monthly analytical reviews for tier 2 and tier 3 entities.
• Perform monthly closing and all related activities for specific entities.
• Ensure correct processing of intercompany recharges.
• Support senior financial reporting accountant with the coordination of audits and preparation of financial statements.
• Assist with audits and the financial statements process, working with local accountants.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements for tier 2 and tier 3 entities.
• Ensure adherence to corporate guidelines and maintain auditable documents.
• Analyse and investigate financial variances, taking appropriate action to ensure data accuracy.
• Provide financial advice and maintain support on internal controls and accounting standards.
• Reconcile various financial data to maintain accurate account balances and ensure compliance with accounting practices.
• Ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and complete.
• Carry out other financial accounting-related tasks as required by management.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred.
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
• High functional competence with relevant experience in accounting, external reporting, and audits.
• Experience in an international company is advantageous.
• Demonstrated technical capability to interpret and challenge financial data.
• Highly energised, motivated, and committed to continuous improvement.
• Effective communication skills, particularly in collaborative environments.
• Deadline-oriented, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
• SAP knowledge/experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel and Word.
