We are looking for a Junior Buyer to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services needed to drive innovative offshore and energy projects.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Support the procurement team in sourcing materials, equipment, and services for ongoing projects.
- Assist in identifying and evaluating suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders while monitoring delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues related to delivery, pricing, or quality.
- Maintain and update supplier records to ensure accurate and efficient procurement processes.
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to understand procurement requirements.
- Ensure all purchases align with project budgets and timelines.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, invoices, and supplier correspondence.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities to support decision-making.
Requirements Junior Buyer
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a procurement or buying role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Internship experience in procurement or supply chain management is a plus!
- Basic understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office, and knowledge of procurement software (e.g., SAP or Oracle) is a plus.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English is required, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus!
