For one of our clients providing innovative offshore solutions, we are looking for a Naval Architect to contribute to the overall design of floaters, with a particular focus on new build projects and the concept phase of projects. You will be responsible for the naval architectural engineering and design, encompassing various activities such as studies, proposals, technology development, Pre-FEED projects, FEED projects, and EPCI projects.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Contribute to the expertise and knowledge within the Naval Architectural discipline as well as taking the role on projects.
- Ensure that knowledge and expertise are maintained and expanded to deliver high-quality and cost-effective designs.
- Take on the role of a Discipline Lead Engineer (DLE) where you will be responsible for project management, leading a discipline that includes 3-4 Naval Architects, as well as a few designers/drafters.
Requirements Naval Architecture Engineer
- Master's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent (i.e. Professional Certification) in Naval Architecture.
- At least 7 years of relevant working experience.
- In-depth experience and sound technical knowledge of Naval Architecture in both conceptual and detailed design.
- Preferably experience in Engineering & Design and/or Operation of floating & production units (FSOs, FPSOs, Oil & Gas and Chemical tankers, Drilling Units, Semis, TLP) for the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Good interface knowledge with related disciplines i.e. Marine Systems, E&I, Piping, HVAC, Process & Technical Safety.
- Familiar with rules of classification societies (i.e.: ABS, DNV GL, BV, and Lloyds), international organisations and proper implementation of Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) policies.
