We are looking for a Document Controller to keep the master document register, reviews, and vendor handovers running smoothly, so everyone works from the latest approved information.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Maintain the document register/MDR (metadata, versions, status, owners, due dates).
- Receive, quality-check, code, and file documents (drawings, specs, procedures, certificates, contracts).
- Manage workflows for review/approval (RFI/IFI/IFC/As-Built), and track comments and close-outs.
- Distribute the right revisions to internal teams and vendors, and recall superseded versions.
- Monitor document deadlines, chase overdue items, and report status/KPIs to the project lead.
- Prepare transmittals/submittals and package documentation for client handover.
- Support template/numbering standards and naming conventions, and fix inconsistencies.
- Perform spot audits for completeness, compliance, and traceability.
- Provide user support/training on the DMS and basic search/filters.
- Liaise with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and construction on document queries and deliverables.
Vereisten Document Controller
- 1-3 years of experience in document control or technical administration (EPC/engineering environment is a plus).
- Comfortable with DMS/EDMS platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex, Asite, Meridian, Teamcenter, or similar).
- Strong version control habits and understanding of review/approval cycles.
- Solid Excel/Sheets skills (filters, lookups, pivots are a plus).
- High attention to detail, structures and deadline-driven; able to manage multiple workstreams.
- Clear communication in English (Dutch is a plus); service-oriented and proactive.
- Basic familiarity with MDRs, transmittals, metadata, and revision codes (training provided if needed).
