Can you lead an expediting team that keeps critical equipment off the critical path? Are you the person suppliers answer first because you always unblock issues fast, and document the fix?

We are looking for a Lead Expeditor to drive on-time delivery of critical equipment by leading the expediting team, de-risking supplier schedules, and unblocking issues across vendors, logistics, and project teams.

Tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and prioritise the work of the ezpediting team across multiple packages and vendors.
- Own the Material Status Report (MSR): maintain forecasts vs. actuals, highlighting slippages, and trigger recovery plans.
- Validate supplier production plans, witness points, and shipping readiness; escalate risks early with clear action owners and dates.
- Coordinate daily with Project Procurement Leads, Engineers, QA/QC, and Logistics to align INCOTERMS, inspections, and shipping windows.
- Expedite documents: ensure on-time submission/approval of ITPs, MDRs, COCs/COAs, packing lists, invoices, and certificates.
- Run vendor progress reviews; issue and follow through on recovery schedules, NCR closures, and mitigation actions.
- Interface with freight forwarders and site teams to secure bookings, customs paperwork, and last-mile delivery to yards/ports/sites.
- Report status and risks to project management (KPIs, trends, critical path impacts) and recommend schedule/sequence optimisations.
- Drive continuous improvement in expediting processes, dashboards, and vendor performance feedback.
Vereisten Lead Expeditor
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Proven expediting track record in large EPC/EPCI or oil & gas projects, including heavy/engineered equipment.
- Team-lead experience: planning workloads, mentoring, and holding vendors/colleagues to deadlines.
- Strong grasp of production milestones, ITPs, FATs, QA/QC documentation, and shipping/compliance requirements.
- Hands-on with expediting, negotiation, and escalation skills; calm under pressure with tight schedules.
- Solid understanding of logistics flows (INCOTERMS, customs, freight modes) and interface management.
- Problem-solving mindset with a bias to action and measurable schedule recovery.
