Project Engineer

Can you turn complex requirements into buildable, on-time deliverables? Can you coordinate multiple disciplines, vendors, and schedules while keeping interfaces under control?

We are looking for a Project Engineer to help deliver flagship offshore-energy projects, from concept through FAT/SAT and handover.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Translate client requirements into clear scopes, specifications, and deliverables.
• Plan and coordinate multi-discipline, engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, Structural, E&I).
• Support PM on schedule, budget, risks, and quality; keep registers and reports up to date.
• Drive interface management across disciplines and with contractors/suppliers.
• Prepare/review technical documents: specs, datasheets, MTOs, ITPs, change notes.
• Lead/support design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP, constructabilit/operability sessions.
• Coordinate procurement inputs: RFQs, TBEs, vendor clarifications; follow up on vendor docs.
• Organise FAT/SAT, documentation handover; support commissioning and close-out.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and relevant standards (ISO, IEC, DNV) across EPC phases.
• Report progress/issues; suggest mitigations and recovery plans.
• When needed, act as work-package lead / (sub)project lead.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical/Process, Maritime or similar.
• 3-8+ years as Project Engineer / Lead Engineer on offshore energy, marine, or heavy-industry projects (EPC/EPCM).
• Proven coordination of multi-discipline engineering with schedule, budget, and quality responsibility,
• Comfortable with specs, TBEs, change control, risk management, and stage-gates.
• Familiar with MS Project / Primavera and document/requirements platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Relatics).
• Experience with vendors, fabricators and witnessing FAT/SAT.
• Clear communicator (both verbally and in writing); English required, Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to visit yard/site or client locations when needed.
