Do you have experience keeping complex vessels safe, compliant, and mission-ready? Can you lead upgrades (e.g., hybridisation/sustainability) while protecting schedule and budget?

We are looking for a Technical Superintendent to own the repair, maintenance, and readiness of assigned vessels, plan budgets and port calls, manage upgrades and class/flag compliance, and steer day-to-day technical performance.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Own technical readiness for assigned vessels: plan and control R&M, modifications, dry/port calls, and preventive maintenance.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets (R&M and investments); track costs, approve POs/invoices per authorisation matrix.
- Ensure compliance with flag, class, IMO and internal standards; coordinate inspections, surveys, and audits.
- Lead technical projects end-to-end (damage repairs, hybridisation/sustainability upgrades, project preparations) with clear scope, schedule, and risk control.
- Use fleet data (downtime, inventory, CMMS/asset mgmt) to drive reliability and continuous improvement; standardise methods and procedures.
- Coordinate closely with vessel crews, yard(s), vendors, and cross-functional teams; maintain accurate technical status and vessel inspection reports.
Vereisten Technical Superintendent
- Bachelor's/Master's in Maritime Technology, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5+ years in a technical role within a maritime/offshore company (superintendent/shipyard/field engineering experience is a plus).
- Solid knowledge of classification and flag rules and IMO requirements; familiar with surveys and audits.
- Proven experience planning R&M, managing budgets, and leading yard/port-call work scopes.
- Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities; hands-on mindset.
- Fluent in English (written & spoken); willing to travel to vessels and shipyards as needed.
