We are looking for a Document Controller to manage, organise, and ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient handling of all project-related documentation to supprot effective project execution.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Manage, maintain, and ensure accuracy and integrity of project-related documentation (drawings, specifications, reports, correspondence).
  • Organise, track, and control documents, ensuring easy retrieval and proper storage.
  • Ensure availability and distribution of the latest document versions to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, project procedures, regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Administer and maintain the document management system, ensuring meticulous data entry and data integrity.
  • Perform systematic quality checks on incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Record and maintain accurate documentation flow.
  • Proactively highlight concerns and prioritise tasks to meet project milestones.
  • Capture and implement lessons learned to improve processes and efficiencies.
  • Provide guidance and support regarding document management tools and processes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Handle multiple smaller projects simultaneously.
  • Manage the project mailbox, responding promptly to inquiries and ad-hoc requests.
  • Support additional document control tasks as instructed by the Document Management Lead.

Requirements Document Controller - Energy Projects

  • At least 3 years of experience in Engineering Document Control.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Vendor Document Control.
  • Strong proficiency in Office 365, specifically Microsoft Word.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
  • Fluent written and sppken English skills.
  • Ability to adapt effectively within a multi-cultural environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.
