We are looking for an E&I Designer to design and implement control and automation solutions for various EPC projects.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Develop basic and detailed drawings for technical installations and instrumentation.
- Provide support to the Senior E&I Designer or the E&I Engineering team in handling technical correspondence.
- Collaborate closely with other designers and departments to facilitate the seamless implementation of projects.
- Take responsibility for monitoring project planning and execution, overseeing both technical drawings and constructive implementation.
- Serve as a vital link during the design phase, actively seeking the optimal technical solutions for each project.
- Translate conceptual ideas into detailed technical designs, potentially leading the selection of instruments and preparing specification sheets based on customer requirements (sometimes under the guidance of an Instrument Engineer).
- Identify and engage with suppliers and subcontractors, participating in technical discussions with end-customers.
- Consider cost-effectiveness and maintenance aspects while designing installations.
Requirements E&I Designer
- Proficient in AutoCAD for creating technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills in English, and knowledge of Dutch is a plus!
- Background in Instrumentation and Control Systems (I&CS) design.
- Ability to support and collaborate with other engineers and various departments.
- Experience in project planning and execution, ensuring effective implementation.
- Must hold a VCA Certificate, demonstrating knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Strong in translating concepts into technical designs and selecting instruments.
- Familiarity with engaging suppliers and subcontractors, and participating in technical discussions.
