We are looking for an Engineering Project Manager Hull to oversee the development and implementation of engineering plans and ensure the integrity of hull design for FPSO vessels.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Manage the technical scope of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, internal and external codes, standards, and regulations, all within the allocated budget and schedule.
- Take charge of developing the engineering planning for projects, and overseeing the execution of engineering work to ensure it aligns with project schedules and budgets.
- Assume responsibility for the integrity of Hull design and the selection of technical solutions that meet project requirements.
- Work closely with the project management team, client, and classification society, coordinating efforts to achieve project goals in line with the Project Manager's vision.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Overall and other Area Engineering Project Managers (EPMs), Technical Authorities, Operations, Planning, Engineering departments, and others to foster seamless project integration.
- Assemble the engineering team by consulting with Department Managers and Lead Engineers, ensuring the formation of a skilled and effective team.
- Define and control the Engineering scope of work, maintaining a clear understanding of project requirements and deliverables.
- Develop the Engineering segment of the Hull Project Engineering Plan, encompassing budgeting and planning for the engineering scope.
- Oversee the execution of the engineering scope in alignment with the contract, applicable rules and regulations, internal systems, and standards, resulting in a safe, operable, and cost-effective design.
- Organise design reviews and effectively implement review results to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the engineering work.
- Obtain relevant approvals and certifications from clients, classification societies, and other entities to ensure project compliance and success.
Requirements Engineering Project Manager Hull
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any relevant Engineering discipline (e.g., Marine, Naval, Architecture, Safety & Loss Prevention, Structural Hull, Hydrodynamics).
- 10 years of Engineering experience, including on-site experience, discipline leadership, and international exposure to multidisciplinary projects.
- Proven experience with international teams, with a preference for familiarity with working in Asia.
- Demonstrated experience in team management.
- Previous involvement with FPSO projects.
- Essential hands-on construction experience.
- Broad knowledge of various offshore systems.
- Well-developed commercial and contractual understanding.
- Willingness to travel frequently, the position is based in South Holland, but travel is a key requirement.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
