We are looking for a Group Technical Expert Instrumentation to develop and maintain technical standards, provide expertise across projects, ensure technical compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the company's technical know-how by issuing Group Technical Standards Guidelines.
  • Support tendering activities by framing technical content for proposals.
  • Ensure technical compliance with Group Technical Standards and maintain technical integrity of project deliverables.
  • Provide group technical support on expertise and sensitive technical issues from feasibility to decommissioning.
  • Develop and maintain the company's technical operations know-how through the issue of Operations Working Processes and Working Instructions.
  • Act as an internal expert, contributing to various activities and interacting with internal and external stakeholders to promote best practices and technical solutions.
  • Attend key meetings globally throughout the full life cycle of products such as FPSOs.

Requirements Group Technical Expert Instrumentation

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Recognised authority at cross-entities level in the area(s) of expertise, typically with 10 years of experience.
  • Solid track records across multiple functions within the area(s) of expertise, understanding the full cycle with strong operational unit experience.
  • Understanding of cross-discipline interfaces and ability to build and maintain relationships across various disciplines.
  • High-performing team player with the ability to support and receive support from team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear messages and adapt presentation style as needed.
  • Result-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving objectives and continuous improvement.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and create opportunities and interact with clients to generate business.
  • Autonomous and self-motivated, guided by business principles and team objectives.
