We are looking for a Lead Engineer Electrical to oversee the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for offshore energy projects, ensuring they meet safety, efficiency, and reliability standards.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers, providing direction and support to achieve project objectives and deadlines.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project execution and optimal design solutions.
• Manage project timelines and resources, ensuring electrical engineering tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct rigorous technical analyses and reviews to validate electrical designs and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Identify and implement innovative electrical engineering technologies and practices to enhance project outcomes and sustainability.
• Serve as the primary electrical engineering contact for project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare and present detailed electrical engineering reports and documentation, including design specifications, drawings, and technical evaluations.
• Monitor and report on the progress of electrical engineering activities, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure continuous improvement in electrical engineering processes and methodologies, staying up-to-date on industry trends and advancements.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the offshore energy sector.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and monitoring a team of engineers.
• Strong proficiency in electrical design software and tools relevant to offshore energy projects.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly to non-experts.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus but not mandatory, with a willingness to learn if necessary.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative and efficient electrical solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
