We are looking for a Lead Engineer Process to oversee the development and optimisation of process engineering solutions for offshore energy projects, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with environmental standards.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of process engineering solutions.
- Lead a team of process engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and direction to ensure project and technical objectives are met.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate process engineering solutions within overall project design and execution.
- Manage the process design phase, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and system simulations.
- Ensure all process engineering activities comply with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
- Conduct technical reviews and risk assessments to optimise process designs for efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
- Develop and implement innovative process engineering matters with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and expertise in addressing technical challenges that may arise throughout project implementation.
- Mentor and develop junior process engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Requirements Lead Engineer Process
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional engineering certification or equivalent is an advantage.
- 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the offshore energy sector.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience guiding and mentoring a team.
- Positive and proactive personality, with a strong motivation for project success.
- Fluent in English for effective communication.
- Proficiency in Dutch is highly valued, though not mandatory. Candidates should be open to learning Dutch.
- Ability to act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external project communications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimising process efficiency and safety.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
