Do you have experience designing innovative process engineering solutions for offshore energy projects? Can you lead a team of engineers towards setting new standards in process engineering?

We are looking for a Lead Engineer Process to oversee the development and optimisation of process engineering solutions for offshore energy projects, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with environmental standards.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of process engineering solutions.
  • Lead a team of process engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and direction to ensure project and technical objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate process engineering solutions within overall project design and execution.
  • Manage the process design phase, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and system simulations.
  • Ensure all process engineering activities comply with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct technical reviews and risk assessments to optimise process designs for efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
  • Develop and implement innovative process engineering matters with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and expertise in addressing technical challenges that may arise throughout project implementation.
  • Mentor and develop junior process engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Requirements Lead Engineer Process

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional engineering certification or equivalent is an advantage.
  • 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the offshore energy sector.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience guiding and mentoring a team.
  • Positive and proactive personality, with a strong motivation for project success.
  • Fluent in English for effective communication.
  • Proficiency in Dutch is highly valued, though not mandatory. Candidates should be open to learning Dutch.
  • Ability to act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external project communications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimising process efficiency and safety.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
