Planning Engineer

We are looking for a Planning Engineer to develop, manage, and optimise project schedules for complex offshore projects, ensuring progress, resources, and forecasts remain aligned from proposal through execution.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for complex offshore programs, projects, and work packages.
• Translate proposal schedules into fully developed execution schedules with clear logic, dependencies, and milestones.
• Coordinate planning input from multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and international offices.
• Monitor progress, update forecasts, and provide clear reporting to project teams, management, and clients.
• Produce planning deliverables, including bar charts, histograms, S-curves, and Earned Value reports.
• Develop offshore schedules, mobilisation plans, CAPEX and R&M planning (e.g., port calls and dockings).
• Work closely with Project Managers and Cost Controllers to align planning, budgeting, and resource strategies.
• Support the development and improvement of integrated resource planning and Earned Value systems.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent.
• 3—5 years of experience in project planning within engineering, offshore, or marine environments.
• Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling methodologies.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Familiarity with network planning, resource planning, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Analytical mindset with strong communication and coordination skills.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
