Planning Engineer

We are looking for a Planning Engineer to develop, manage, and optimise project schedules, ensuring complex engineering projects are delivered on time and aligned across all disciplines.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to define milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
• Monitor project progress, identify delays and risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform schedule analysis, forecasting, and earned value analysis (EVM) to support decision-making.
• Prepare and present progress reports, KPIs, and schedule updates to stakeholders.
• Lead planning meetings and ensure alignment across multidisciplinary teams.
• Support project execution by optimising resource planning and scheduling strategies.
• Mentor junior planners and contribute to continuous improvement in planning processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in project planning within oil & gas, offshore, or EPC projects (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Experience with schedule analysis, forecasting, and earned value management (EVM).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary project environments.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and management skills.
