Project Manager - Ship Design & Integration

Do you have experience leading multidisciplinary shipbuilding/offshore projects from kick-off to handover? Can you turn RAID logs, change control and KPIs into predictable outcomes?

We are looking for a Project Manager - Ship Design & Integration to lead multidisciplinary, international shipbuilding/offshore engineering projects end-to-end. You'll be responsible for the scope, schedule, budget, quality and stakeholder success.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Deliver multiple projects (new-build, life-extension, conversion) from kick-off to handover, safeguarding Q/HSE.
• Build and lead project teams, assign work packages, and ensure the quality of technical deliverables.
• Act as a single point of contact for clients, manage suppliers, co-makers and third parties.
• Plan and control scope, budget, schedule, risk and change (baselines, critical path, EAC/forecasts).
• Run project governance: PM plans, RAID logs, progress meetings, reporting and design reviews.
• Coordinate interfaces across disciplines (structures, naval architecture, piping/outfitting, E&A, HVAC/automation).
• Ensure contract & standards compliance, track KPIs, drive lessons learned and continuous improvement.
• Support bids and variations: WBS, estimating, resourcing and commercial negotiations.
• Use PM toolsets, such as MS Project, MS Office, SharePoint/PLM, and EROP (e.g., Navision) for control & reporting.

• HBO/WO degree (preferably Naval Architecture or related).
• 10+ years of experience in engineering and 5+ years managing projects to time, cost and quality (new-builds/conversions/upkeep).
• Proven delivery of multidisciplinary programs to time, cost and quality (new-builds/conversions/upkeep).
• Strong commercial & stakeholder skills: contract management, change control, supplier coordination.
• Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office, SharePoint and ERP tools (e.g., Navision); PLM familiarity a plus.
• Excellent communication in Dutch & English; organised, solution-oriented and hands-on.
