We are looking for a Senior Corrosion Mitigation Engineer to ensure offshore structures remain durable and low-maintenance by designing and specifying corrosion protection systems, such as coatings, cathodic protection, and material selection, according to international standards.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Establish the overall corrosion-control strategy.
- Convert high-level strategy into detailed technical deliverables, including:
- Coating Specifications
- ICCP (Impressed Current Cathodic Protection) system guidelines
- Advise on material selection, protective coatings, ICCP systems and sacrificial anodes to minimise degradation and maintenance.
- Perform technical evaluations, asses quotations, and support procurement decisions.
- Review and validate supplier documentation related to corrosion protection systems.
- Act as the technical point of contact for corrosion engineering during procurement and on-site inspections.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 12944, NACE, NORSOK, ASTM).
- Collaborate closely with piping, structural, mechanical, and E&I teams across the full project lifecycle.
- Contribute to sustainable design solutions that extend the lifespan of offshore infrastructure.
Requirements Senior Corrosion Mitigation Engineer (Offshore Renewable)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
- 7-10 years of experience in corrosion and materials engineering, preferably in offshore projects.
- Certification of at least NACE/AMPP CIP Level 1.
- Proven experience with coating and corrosion protection specifications.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 12944, NACE, NORSOK, ASTM, and similar industry standards.
- Familiarity with cathodic protection systems and material selection in corrosion-prone environments.
- Proficiency in English; Dutch is a plus!
- Methodical, solutions-driven approach with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
