We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex oil & gas projects. In this role, you will oversee technical evaluations, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communications while mentoring the engineering team.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in alignment with objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activities to ensure all technical and contractual requirements are met.
- Conduct and oversee technical evaluations, risk assessments, and feasibility studies to support informed decision-making.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks proactively, and implement corrective actions to keep milestones on track.
- Review and approve technical documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal policies.
- Serve as primary liaison with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate clear communication and collaboration.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the project engineering team, fostering continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Mentor junior engineers, support their professional development, and promote best practices across disciplines.
Requirements Senior Project Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- At least 10 years' project engineering experience in the oil & gas industry.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in complex project environments.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong analytical and technical expertise, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Effective time-management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
- Commercial acumen, including cost control, contractual change management, and negotiation.
- Familiarity with risk management, subcontracting processes, and planning methodologies.
