We are looking for a Structural Engineer - Heavy Lift to design, analyse, and support the installation and removal of large offshore topsides and jacket structures while ensuring safety, performance, and regulatory compliance from concept through execution.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Define the structural scope of work, methodologies, budgets, and schedules for each project phase (concept, basic, detailed).
- Perform structural design studies, hand calculations, and FEM simulations for installation and removal aids.
- Develop and document procedures for testing and using lifting and support equipment, then review outcomes with project and offshore teams.
- Generate material take-offs and coordinate fabrication of project aids (in-house or subcontracted).
- Review and provide feedback on subcontractor equipment designs and installation/removal methods.
- Update engineering leads on progress and maintain clear project documentation.
- Provide on-site and remote engineering support during offshore installation and removal activities.
- Prepare input for project close-out reports and contribute to lessons learned.
- Propose improvements to departmental standards, tools, and workflows.
Requirements Structural Engineer - Heavy Lift Engineering
- BSc or MSc in Civil, Mechanical, Offshore, or equivalent Engineering discipline.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience for Medior level; 7+ years for Senior level.
- Proficiency (or strong interest) in structural analysis software (e.g., FEMAP, GeniE).
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Willingness to travel and work offshore as project demands require.
- Affinity for offshore or marine environments and a passion for heavy-lift engineering challenges.
