Do you have experience turning complex material data into clear insights that keep projects moving? Can you help ensure the right materials are available at the right time for complex EPC projects?

We are looking for a Bulk Engineer to manage, verify, and report bulk material data, ensuring accurate MTOs, material tracking, and smooth coordination between engineering, supply chain, and construction teams.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Interface with engineering teams on Material Take Offs (MTOs), ensuring timely release in line with the project schedule.
  • Verify MTO input data, identify discrepancies, and coordinate corrections with relevant stakeholders.
  • Apply wastage matrices to MTOs and validate derived material quantities.
  • Identify the need for top-up and top-down MTOs and generate procurement MTOs.
  • Issue MTOs to Supply Chain and the Yard, coordinating material release, delivery plans, and allocation responsibilities.
  • Maintain live trackers for bulk material usage, delivery status, availability, surplus, and at-risk items.
  • Perform multi-system data analysis to support project decision-making.
  • Prepare and discuss Workfront Analyses and Bulk Reports with project stakeholders.
  • Support Construction with accurate material tracking and timely data availability.
  • Maintain bulk material databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with Management of Change processes.
  • Conduct bulk-related gap analyses across disciplines and trigger corrective actions where needed.
  • Act as a data integrator between Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Construction for bulk-related scope.
  • Support the reuse of surplus materials and contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare the detailed Bulk Close-Out Report at project completion.

Requirements Bulk Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, cost engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in material control, cost engineering, project planning, procurement, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Experience in EPC projects is strongly preferred.
  • Strong experience with data handling, databases, and reporting.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with MS Access, SQL, Visual Basic, or Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of project controls, material tracking, and procurement processes.
  • Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, supply chain, construction, and logistics.
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
