Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to plan and manage the transportation of materials and equipment, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective deliveries that keep complex projects and operations running smoothly.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee logistics activities for project and operational shipments.
• Arrange and optimise transportation (air, sea, road) to meet deadlines while controlling costs.
• Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials and equipment.
• Monitor shipment status and maintain accurate delivery forecasts and records in the ERP system.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards.
• Identify and resolve logistical challenges proactively to prevent project delays.
• Provide regular logistics updates to project teams and stakeholders.
• Support expediting and procurement teams to align shipping priorities with project schedules.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics coordination within oil & gas, energy, offshore, or large industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of international transportation modes, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, vendors, and multi-site project teams.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics tracking tools.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, able to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proactive problem solver with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
