Project Engineer / Project Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex Oil & Gas, EPC and FPSO projects from project kick-off through to final customer payment.

The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, fabrication, shipping and QA/QC activities, while managing project scope, deliverables, budget, schedule, risks and customer requirements. The position requires a strong technical background and the ability to manage interfaces between engineering disciplines, vendors, suppliers, procurement and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from internal kick-off through to final customer payment, managing project scope, deliverables, budget, schedule, progress, risks and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across Process, Mechanical, Piping, Civil & Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation and Technical Safety, from FEED through to EPC.
• Coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Shipping and QA/QC activities, ensuring project deliverables, quality requirements and execution plans are met.
• • Review sales files, RFQs, project specifications and contractual requirements, supporting quotations and cost estimates while identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Manage technical and project interfaces across Piping, Engineering, Procurement, Vendors, Suppliers and Subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of technical and commercial issues.
• Track project progress, deliverables, actions and changes, maintain project administration and documentation, coordinate project meetings and prepare status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor contractual matters, including potential EOT and EOC opportunities, support audits and communicate critical risks and project issues to stakeholders.
• Support value improvement initiatives and timely technical decisions, working with clients, vendors and international engineering teams to support predictable project delivery.
• Travel to vendor and project sites when required.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in project execution, project engineering or a similar project-based role, with mandatory Oil & Gas experience, preferably within EPC and FPSO projects.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering and/or Project Management, with a strong technical background and good understanding of Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Shipping and QA/QC activities.
• Proven experience managing project scope, deliverables, budget, schedule, quality and risk, including project tracking, administration and meeting coordination.
