Senior Buyer

We are looking for a Senior Buyer to own strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations for complex engineering projects, ensuring on-time, on-spec, and cost-effective delivery across EPC projects.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Lead strategic sourcing for critical materials, equipment, and services across multiple projects.
• Run RFx (RFIs/RFQs), evaluate bids, and recommend awards based on cost, schedule, and technical fit.
• Negotiate contracts (frameworks, T&Cs, LDs, warranties) and manage supplier performance/KPIs.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, planning, logistics, and QA/QC to align specs and delivery plans.
• Track procurement schedules, expedite/mitigate to keep milestones and budgets on target.
• Manage procurement risks (delivery, quality, cost); drive issues resolution and continuous improvement.
• Support EPC contracting strategies and ensure compliance with project and company procedures.

• 10+ years experience in project procurement/tenders/contract strategy within maritime, offshore, or engineering environments.
• Strong exposure to EPC projects and buying technical products and services.
• Proven contract negotiation skills and supplier-relationship management.
• Confident working with multi-disciplinary project teams and external stakeholders.
• Nice to have: ​​​​​​familiar with expediting, TCO analysis, and supplier KPI frameworks.
