Profile Senior Pipe Stress Engineer
Do you have experience solving complex piping challenges where pressure, temperature, and movement all come together? Can you turn advanced pipe stress calculations into practical solutions that keep installations safe and reliable?
-
We are looking for a Senior Pipe Stress Engineer who can analyse and design complex piping systems to ensure they remain safe, reliable, and structurally sound under pressure, temperature changes, and dynamic loads.
-
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Perform static and dynamic pipe stress calculations for complex piping systems.
- Analyse piping systems exposed to high and low pressure, temperature variations, thermal expansion, vibrations, and dynamic loads.
- Use tools such as Caesar II to carry out detailed pipe stress analyses.
- Translate complex calculation results into practical and feasible engineering solutions.
- Analyse critical scenarios such as water hammer, thermal expansion, and vibration issues.
- Design, assess, and calculate pipe supports in collaboration with other engineering disciplines.
- Check piping systems and supports against relevant international standards, such as ASME B31.3 and EN 13480.
- Prepare clear technical reports in English and present findings to clients, project teams, and inspection authorities when required.
- Work closely with engineers, lead engineers, and project managers in mono- and multidisciplinary teams.
