Senior Structural Topsides Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Structural Topsides Engineer to design and deliver safe, reliable, and compliant structural solutions for offshore topside facilities, ensuring integrity from concept through installation.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Lead structural topsides engineering across concept, FEED, detailed design, and execution phases.
• Perform and review structural analyses (in-place, transport, lifting, fatigue, and load-out conditions).
• Develop and review structural calculations, reports, and design deliverables in line with project specifications and international standards.
• Ensure structural integrity of offshore topsides, including modules, decks, and supporting structures.
• Coordinate interfaces with Naval, Mechanical, Piping, and other engineering disciplines.
• Manage structural scope within the agreed schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Support fabrication, yard activities, load-out, transportation, and installation engineering.
• Review vendor designs and ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of structural standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and, when required, act as Discipline Lead for structural scope.

• Engineering degree in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering within offshore oil & gas or EPC projects.
• Proven experience with offshore topsides structures, modules, and load-bearing systems.
• Strong knowledge of international design codes and standards (e.g., DNV, API, Eurocode).
• Experience with structural analysis tools (e.g., SACS, STAAD, ANSYS or similar).
• Familiarity with load-out, transportation, lifting, and installation analyses.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage interfaces and deliver under project deadlines.
• Willingness to support site or yard activities when required.
